Technical Case Study
The Challenge
The homeowner wanted to transform a dated, textured popcorn ceiling into a sleek, reflective surface to enhance ceiling height and maximize natural light throughout the living area. Traditional drywall removal would have created significant dust, required days of sanding, and forced the clients to clear out their living space entirely.
Our Solution
We installed a high-gloss premium stretch ceiling membrane mounted on a concealed perimeter aluminium track system.
- Day 1 (Preparation & Framing): Our team secured the structural perimeter tracks directly below the existing ceiling and mapped out the electrical wiring for the new ultra-thin LED recessed spot lights.
- Day 2 (Thermal Tensioning & Completion): Using clean heat-tensioning equipment, the high-gloss membrane was stretched to a perfectly flat, mirror-like finish. The LED fixtures were seamlessly integrated using heat-resistant reinforcement rings.
